Olivet Teen Mission Intl Leaders Visit UK To Share Vision & Development Of Ministry

A leadership team from Olivet Teen Mission International (OTM Intl) has visited the UK Olivet Centre to give a ministry presentation to students and leaders based in the UK. The OTM representatives gave an in-depth presentation that revealed the clear vision and ministry works that OTM Intl is currently carrying out throughout the world.

The presentation started with an introduction and opening prayer, and Pastor Amanda Garcia shared the various mission tours the ministry has had since last year. She went on to explain the importance of these visits, which fostered a greater urgency for raising the next generation of teenagers and youth for Christ.

She went on to share how the ministry started from a personal set-time prayer to ask God to serve in Teen Mission. She shared how she believes that it is the perfect timing of God to develop this ministry now, as the need to guide and encourage teens in their faith is of particular importance in today's increasingly secular society.

The presentation also highlighted that teens contribute greatly to church growth, and are full of ideas that can help outreach to today's younger generations. In addition, these teens are our future global leaders, and ensuring they are educated in the Word of God and are confident in their faith is of upmost importance.

Other points in the presentation included the core aspects that OTM holds onto such as teaching Biblical truth, providing Christ-centred communities, and creating various serving opportunities for teens.

Lastly, participants were asked to consider pledging to pray, serve, or financially support the ministry.

In addition to the core conference and presentation, the OTM leadership team stayed at the UK Olivet Centre for a week-long period, where they were able to meet other ministry leaders, and also held a three-day conference on plans to develop Olivet Teen Mission throughout the UK and Europe in the coming years.
